Specific functional requirements for a certified kosher kitchen: two complete, fully separated prep zones (two sinks, two dishwashers, two sets of appliances) with physical separation between meat and dairy prep areas — while achieving a high-design aesthetic.
Two wings separated by a butler's pantry with a dedicated bread prep zone. Meat wing: 48-inch Wolf range, Sub-Zero column refrigerator, custom inset painted cabinetry in forest green with unlacquered brass hardware. Dairy wing mirrors the layout. Calacatta Macchia Vecchia marble on island and perimeter. Butler's pantry in sage to differentiate zones visually. Ramapo permit approved in 4 weeks.
The kitchen functions exactly as required for large-scale preparation while reading as a singular, cohesive design. Project completed in 15 weeks — one week ahead of schedule.
