What is the difference between quartz and quartzite?
Quartz countertops are engineered — ground stone mixed with resin — and are non-porous, consistent in pattern, and low-maintenance. Quartzite is a natural stone that is harder than granite but requires sealing. Both are excellent; quartz is more consistent, quartzite has a natural variation that many homeowners prefer.
How long does countertop installation take?
After cabinets are installed and level, we template in one day. Fabrication takes 7–10 business days, and installation takes 1 day. Total lead time from template to install is typically 2 weeks.
