Bathroom Remodel in Nanuet, NY
Silent video, approximately 76 seconds. The first section shows the original stall shower, vanity and floor; the second shows the remodeled bathroom. The changes are described below.
This Nanuet homeowner had a cramped, outdated bathroom: a narrow stall shower with a framed sliding door, tired brown floor tile, and a pedestal-style vanity with no storage. Rockland Design Factory took it down to the studs and rebuilt it as a bright, modern spa-style bath. Watch the before & after video above, then see what changed below.
What We Changed
- Walk-in shower: Replaced the old fiberglass stall with a custom tiled walk-in shower and a frameless glass door with brushed nickel hardware.
- Wave wall tile: Installed large-format gray wave-textured wall tile from floor to ceiling inside the shower.
- Hexagon mosaic shower floor: Added a white-and-gray hexagon mosaic floor with a square drain.
- Recessed shower niche: Built in a niche lined with matching hex mosaic and finished with metal edge trim, so there’s no more clutter on the floor.
- Rain and handheld showers: Installed a ceiling-style rain shower head and a handheld sprayer on a slide bar, with brushed nickel trim throughout.
- New vanity and LED mirror: Swapped in a white shaker vanity with a white top and brushed nickel faucet, plus an arched backlit LED mirror.
- Large gray hexagon floor tile: Laid new oversized gray hex floor tile throughout the bathroom.
- Fresh finishes: Repainted the walls a light, clean gray and added new towel bars, a toilet paper holder, and recessed lighting.
